Whale pencil case from old jeans

I can't take credit for this adorable pattern but I just love the result so have to share! The pattern is from Von Lange Hand, available on Etsy.
I love this little guy and he always attracts comments. If you're like me and save all your fabric scraps and old jeans, you're always on the lookout for a good scrap-busting project and I highly recommend this one. I especially love to make things that are useful but even better if they are beautiful or just darn cute like this fella. I'd like to make a whole pod of them but for now the list of things I want to try is too long...
