Pretty pattern weights
Like many sewists, I use these large steel washers as pattern weights (supplemented when needed by food cans from the pantry haha). A few years back I decided to pretty them up a bit when a friend kindly brought back some gorgeous paper from Japan for me.
I just drew around the shapes and cut them out, glued them onto the washers and then used a dimensional varnish on top for a hard, glossy finish (I think the Inkssentials one I've pictured is what I used but I can't actually remember for sure).
I was really happy how they turned out and it was a quick and easy makeover for a tool I use all the time.
